Helichrysum Silver Star
Other Names:  Silver Star Strawflower
This variety may be used as an accent plant for combinations and baskets; it features silvery-white foliage with a semi-upright to trailing habit; an excellent contrasting groundcover. It's attractive small tomentose round leaves remain silver in colour throughout the year. Neither the flowers nor the fruit are ornamentally significant. Silverstar Strawflower will grow to be about 10 inches tall at maturity, with a spread of 24 inches. When grown in masses or used as a bedding plant, individual plants should be spaced approximately 20 inches apart. This plant does best in full sun to partial shade.
