Helenium Moerheim Beauty
Also known as Sneezeweed. 'Moerheim Beauty' is an erect, clump-forming perennial which typically grows 2-3' tall (sometimes to 4') on rigid stems. Lengthy, late summer to fall (sometimes first frost) bloom period. Daisy-like flowers (2" diameter) have wedge-shaped, coppery-red rays (notched at the tip) and prominent, dark (almost black), dome-like center disks. Ray flowers gradually fade to burnt orange. Alternate, lance-shaped, dark green leaves (up to 6" long).
