This carefree, dazzling plant lends itself to natural wildflower gardenscapes and mass plantings. 3’ tall open plants with sprays of mahogany red semi-doubled blooms, partly rolled petals and contrasting yellow color. This is beautiful as an airy cut flower filler in bouquets. Drought and cold tolerant, unattractive to deer, attractive to butterflies, long-blooming from early summer through late fall and freely reseeding.
